TAMPA, Fla. (September 30, 2025) – This October, AdventHealth will shine a light on the fight against breast cancer by illuminating several of our facilities in pink and hosting a series of events to raise awareness about the importance of early detection.
Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in the United States, but when detected early, it is highly treatable. That’s why AdventHealth is committed to increasing awareness, promoting regular screenings, and making it easier than ever to schedule a potentially life-saving mammogram.
Join Us in October
To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, AdventHealth is hosting Pink Out Day on October 1. Employees and community members are encouraged to wear pink to honor survivors and remember those lost to breast cancer.
Throughout the month, AdventHealth will light up several of its facilities in pink as a symbol of hope, support, and strength for everyone affected by breast cancer. Community members are invited to participate by lighting their porches pink to help spread awareness about the importance of early detection.
To support this effort, free pink lightbulbs will be available at AdventHealth Care Pavilions throughout October (while supplies last). Pick one up, light your porch, and join us in shining a light on breast cancer.
