February 27 – Forget Me Not Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group
Families and individuals who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or early infant death can gather with others to explore their grief while honoring their loss by learning how to strengthen communication with loved ones and engage in self-care activities. February 27 – Home Care RN Career Fair

February 29 – Total Joint Replacement
This free class is for patients who have a total joint replacement surgery scheduled, plus one guest per patient. The class will be held from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Winter Haven Hospital – Wellness Conference Room, 200 Ave F NE in Winter Haven. March 1 – Car Seat Inspection Event
St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is offering a free car seat inspection from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Pediatric Associates Parking Lot, located at 2140 E. Edgewood Dr., Lakeland. Learn from a certified Child Passenger Safety technician how to correctly install and use your car seat. Registration is required for each car seat, and if you have multiple cars or seats, additional appointments must be scheduled. March 2 – Lakeland Regional Health Hollis Cancer Center Promise Run
Lakeland Regional Health Hollis Cancer Center Promise Run will take place rain or shine from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Lake Mirror Promenade in Downtown Lakeland at 121 South Lake Avenue, Lakeland. St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital is sponsoring this free virtual gathering of women who experience unexpected and difficult emotions during their pregnancies and the first year of motherhood. March 5 – Diabetes Education Empowerment Program (DEEP) Virtual

March 6 – Breastfeeding Support Group
Join this free event hosted by St. Joseph’s Hospital-South on Wednesday, March 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at the St. Elizabeth Conference Room, located at 6901 Simmons Loop, Riverview. This event offers support for breastfeeding mothers, facilitated by other experienced mothers and certified breastfeeding consultants. March 6 – Diabetes Support Group
Do you or someone you know have diabetes? This free monthly diabetes support group is from 10-11 a.m. at Lakeland Regional Hospital’s Kathy Hunt Learning Center, 2nd Floor (Pavilion), 1324 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland. This group is open to newly diagnosed and experienced diabetics alike. The Diabetes Support Group is held monthly (October – May) and is a safe place for education and discussion.

March 7 – Maternity Center Orientation Virtual
Prepare for delivery at BayCare by attending a virtual tour of the Maternity Center. This is a free class for expectant mothers. One support person may also attend. March 11 – Walk With Ease (WWE)
This program is a free, six-week exercise class that meets three times a week. It can help reduce pain and improve overall health. This event, hosted by BayCare Health, takes place from 9-10 a.m. at Bonnet Springs Park, 400 Bonnet Springs Blvd., Lakeland. If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success in the WWE program! March 12 – Tobacco Cessation Class
If you’re ready to quit smoking or using tobacco, Tobacco Free Florida’s Tools to Quit program can help! This free event is hosted by the Lakeland Regional Health Hollis Cancer Center, North Campus/Hollis Cancer Center at 3525 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland, from 5:30-7 p.m. The program gives you options, resources and support to quit for good as well as the support you need to remain smoke-free. March 12 – Grandparenting Class Virtual
Excited grandparents can learn about what changes have taken place in hospital care over the years plus the latest recommendations for newborn and infant care. March 13 – OneBlood Drive at the Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion
Each whole blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives. Are you expecting a new baby soon? Recently turned an older child from rear-facing to forward-facing? When you or someone you care for has a stroke, staying informed and meeting with other stroke survivors and caregivers is important. Join other stroke survivors and caregivers at this free support group meeting from 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Please RSVP if you are planning to attend in person.
