Yahia Homsi, MD provides expert psychiatric services from Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. His areas of expertise include psychiatric evaluations, and the treatment of resistant depression, bipolar disorders, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and psychosis. Dr. Homsi received his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine in Damascus, Syria. He went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine/Psychiatry at Charleston Area Medical Center, West Virginia University, in Charleston, West Virginia. Dr. Homsi is board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has received multiple awards for his research in the fields of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry, and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Medical Association.
