Winter Haven Officials Applaud AdventHealth’s Acquisition of Bond Clinic

They say tremendous growth calls for expanded health care.

Bond Clinic, a physician group comprised of more than 90 providers encompassing 28 specialties serving Winter Haven and the surrounding Florida communities, has officially joined AdventHealth, one of the largest faith-based health systems in the United States. AdventHealth has purchased Bond Clinic’s comprehensive multi-specialty assets and care sites located throughout Polk County.

“We are excited to welcome the providers and team members of Bond Clinic to the AdventHealth network,” said Jennifer Snider, president/CEO for AdventHealth Medical Group West Florida Division. “Bond Clinic has a 75-year legacy of personalized, community-based care. Together, we will continue to provide exceptional care to Polk County.”

Bond Clinic’s medical providers and other team members will become employees of AdventHealth, which includes more than 4,000 employed physicians and advanced practice providers serving patients across AdventHealth’s national footprint.

The integration of Bond Clinic brings hundreds of team members and providers into the AdventHealth family, further expanding consumer access to whole-person care across Florida.

“This transition marks a new chapter for Bond Clinic and the communities it serves,” said David Ottati, president/CEO of the AdventHealth West Florida Division. “We look forward to continuing this legacy of excellence in health care while advancing our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.”

Winter Haven City Manager T. Michael Stavres spoke on the acquisition.

“As Winter Haven continues to see rapid population growth, the need for expanded healthcare services also grows,” he says. “Bond Clinic has been a leader in local health care service for over three-quarters of a century, and their team knows this community as well as anyone ever could. They are a trusted provider to our citizens. With the recent (and proposed) investments AdventHealth has made in Winter Haven and the surrounding Polk County area, I commend them for partnering with Bond Clinic.”

He goes on to say, “the collective talents, expertise, resources, and reputations will ensure our residents receive the best medical care and treatment possible.”

Brianna Price, VP of Operations, Communications & Programs for the Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce, echoes that emphasis on care.

“We are thrilled about this next chapter for AdventHealth Bond Clinic. As Polk County grows, it’s essential that our healthcare services continue to expand, ensuring our residents have access to the highest quality care possible.”

AdventHealth is committed to ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of care for all patients throughout this process.
