Lakeland, FL – The Watson Clinic is pleased to welcome the following new additions to their team of expert physicians and medical providers.
Dr. Hasanein received his medical degree from the University of Damascus School of Medicine in Damascus, Syria. He joined the Department of Melanoma at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, where he engaged in clinical research. He went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, and a fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. Dr. Hasanein is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the American College of Physicians.
Hassan Hasanein, MD has joined the Oncology-Hematology department at the Watson Clinic Cancer & Research Center at 1730 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland.

Registered nurse practitioner Amanda Anderson, MSN, APRN has also joined the Oncology-Hematology department at the Watson Clinic Cancer & Research Center where she works alongside Oncologist-Hematologist Shalini Mulaparthi, MD. Ms. Anderson received an Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology degree and an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Keiser University in Lakeland, FL.
She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Polk State College in Lakeland, FL, and her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, degree from the University of Tampa in Tampa, FL. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Traci Vicari, MS, MPH, APRN works alongside board-certified Internal Medicine specialists Leslie Coello Echeverry, MD and Cindy Kelly, DO from Watson Clinic Plant City at 615 E. Alexander Street in Plant City. Ms. Vicari received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and her Master of Science in Nursing and Public Health degrees from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. She is a Certified Medical Examiner for Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals, and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Florida Nursing Association, and the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.
