Watson Clinic Recruits Otolaryngology and Urology Specialists

Lakeland, FL – Watson Clinic is pleased to welcome the newest additions to their team of expert Otolaryngology and Urology specialists.

                Roland Z. Gerencer, MD is an Otolaryngology (ENT) specialist who treats patients from Watson Clinic Bartow Building A at 2250 Osprey Blvd., Suite 100 in Bartow, and Watson Clinic Highlands at 2300 E. County Road 540A in south Lakeland. His areas of expertise include rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery, revision sinus surgery and the surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea.

Dr. Gerencer earned his medical degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. He completed his internship at Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, Canada, his Otolaryngology residency at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, and his fellowship in Rhinology at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, and is a member of the American Rhinologic Society, the American Headache Society and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Gerencer is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.

Genesis Nieves, MD is a Urology specialist who treats patients from Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. Her areas of expertise include endourology, female urology, uro-oncology, and the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence, and other conditions that afflict the urinary tract. Dr. Nieves earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Rockford, IL, and completed her Urology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, TN. She is a member of the American Urology Association and the Society of Women in Urology.
