After months of growing excitement for the Central Florida Health Expo, Hurricane Milton blew through leaving quite the mess in its wake. With the help of our amazing exhibitors, we were able to pivot quickly and reschedule the expo for the following Saturday, October 19. And do you know what? It ended up being one of our best Health Expos ever, and that’s saying something because we’ve been organizing the expo for our community for more than 10 years now!
We host the event in collaboration with the International Market World in Auburndale, and they’ve been a great and supportive partner. This particular Saturday we had cool temperatures, a pleasant breeze, not a cloud in the sky, and the market was positively bustling.
Our exhibitors truly delivered, as well! Our heartfelt thanks go out to the representatives from:
- WellMed
- Mid Florida Community Services
- Murray Insurance Agency
- Florida Department of Health in Polk County
- Palm Medical Centers
- United Way of Central Florida
- Aetna
- Humana
- CarePlus
- We Care
- Anderson Windows
- WellCare
- Amerilife
- Valora Medical Clinic
What a great group of people who made the day the success it was! If you missed the event, no worries! Our next Health Expo is already in the works for Saturday, January 11. If you’re a healthcare or medical provider, go to www.CentralFloridaHealthExpo.com for more information on participating and to register. If you’re not, but you’re still interested in learning more about local health services and companies, we can’t wait to see you there!
A great event is only as successful as its participants, so thanks again to our vendors and to International Market World for making the October Health Expo a hit!
