Bartow, Fla. – Bartow Regional Medical Center has chosen a new Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Dr. Jeremy M. Katzmann is a family medicine physician who has been seeing patients at Bartow Regional for more than 15 years. He started in his new role Jan. 15. Dr. Katzmann earned his doctorate from the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Neb., and completed his residency at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colo. He began his medical career in Wheatland, Wyoming before relocating to Florida in 2004. Dr. Katzmann is affiliated with physicians group Watson Clinic and has served as the medical director of Bartow Regional’s Wound Care Center since 2009.
“I’m humbled to take on this role,” said Dr. Katzmann. “It’s an exciting opportunity and responsibility to oversee clinical operations here. I look forward to continuing to work with an excellent group of health care providers and team members at Bartow Regional to provide excellent patient care for the Bartow community.”
Dr. Katzmann has been an active member of Bartow Regional’s medical staff leadership, most recently serving as the medical staff president. He also has held leadership positions with Watson Clinic and the Bartow Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Katzmann lives in South Lakeland and enjoys time with family, church, and coaching basketball in his spare time.
