28 Senior Living Associates Earn Recognition at Lake Howard Heights in Winter Haven

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Three caregivers have each dedicated 25 years to the same senior living community, and they’re about to see their names permanently displayed alongside 25 colleagues who’ve chosen to stay.

Lake Howard Heights, an Atlas Senior Living community in Winter Haven, is creating the Lake Howard Heights Heroes recognition wall to honor associate tenure across its 62-person team. The wall will feature 28 staff members who have worked at the community for three years or more, with tenure ranging from three to 25 years.

The breakdown reveals depth across experience levels: eight associates have served for three or more years, eight have reached five years, three have passed 10 years, four have surpassed 15 years, two have reached 20 years, and three have achieved 25 years or more with the community.

“We started planning this wall as a way to recognize longevity, but when we pulled the actual numbers, it was more impactful than we anticipated,” said Katie Beattie, Regional Sales and Marketing Director at Lake Howard Heights. “Nearly half our team has been here long enough to build real relationships with residents and their families. That kind of continuity matters in senior living, and we wanted to create something permanent that honors that commitment.”

The Lake Howard Heights Heroes wall is currently in development, with additional details being finalized in the coming weeks.
