At the end of the day, I know I’ve made a difference when … I can think 
back on my day and see the examples of how I had a part in changing the 
course of someone’s life. I made someone laugh, I calmed fears, I taught them 
how to endure chemo treatments, and many times, I was just a quiet shoulder 
for them to cry on when they needed it. That is worth its weight in gold!
