It’s already May, which means summer is just around the corner. While fun in the sun is mostly left to our children during this season, there is an event coming up that would provide a little recreation for a worthy cause.
The “18 Aces to Conquer Cancer Golf Outing & Dinner” is coming up on May 21. The event is being sponsored by The Mahalak Auto Group, a family-owned and operated company with four dealerships here in Central Florida: Dodge Chrysler JEEP of Winter Haven, Dodge Chrysler JEEP of Posner Park, Dodge Chrysler JEEP of Lake Wales, and FIAT of Winter Haven. As part of the festivities, $25 million in cars will be given away, and players will have a chance to win a JEEP with every hole-in-one. Every hole is a Par 3, and the event will also feature a Best Ball Scramble.
Best of all, the proceeds will go towards the Pancreatic Cancer Alliance of Polk County and the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
