Publisher’s Note: The Central Florida Health News reader survey and what it told us about you

Earlier this year a third party reader survey was conducted by the Verified Audit Bureau of Circulations on Central Florida Health News magazine, and I would like to thank all the readers who participated. We had an excellent completion rate for the online survey and it told us a lot about you, our valued reader base.

There a couple interesting items from the survey I would like to share, like over 60 percent of our readers are women, over 40 percent have children still at home, and of these kids most are planning to go to college. Our readership is fairly affluent with 75 percent plus households reporting an average income or greater. Additionally, you responded with some great feedback regarding the content of Central Florida Health News. 55 percent of you rated the overall quality of the magazine as “excellent” and all of our respondents rated it as “satisfactory or better.” That interesting survey result leads me to my next point . . .

Thank you to our dedicated content staff and correspondents! It’s because of you that our audit came back with top marks, way to go! Thanks again also to the Polk County Medical Association for their consistent supply of feedback. There are not many publications that can say they have a team of physicians as liaison editors and we appreciate their insight and direction. Thanks to our advertisers, it’s your confidence that keeps the publication in circulation. And finally, to the readership: Your loyal patronization of businesses advertising in this magazine and your dedicated readership is what makes it all come together. Thanks for reading Central Florida Health News!
